In the US, Papyrus is one of my favorite shops. One of the best stores in Tokyo for similar items (and much more of it!) is Ito-Ya, which is a must for anyone that loves stationary. It’s 11 floors of cards, pens, card stock, gift wrap, stickers, planners, origami paper, furoshiki, art supplies, and everything else in every color you can imagine. If this is your thing, plan about 2-3 hours for your first visit.
– (Left to right) Money envelopes, stationary set, letterpress memo cards, postcards, embossed memo cards –– (Left to right) Textured memo cards, stickers, gold & paper twist ties, delicate paper gift decor, all on top of Japanese specialty tissue paper –– All sorts of ribbon and cords –
I used a lot of these treasured finds to DIY my wedding favors and decor. They also make great gifts for your crafty or silly friends back home. I’ll be using the mustache post its tonight for a party I’m hosting! Hopefully I’ll get some great shots to show you guys!
