I am crazy about cupcakes. Since Zhing and I made our first Tokyo over-zealous attempt, which went bitterly wrong, I’ve been on a bender to make the best cupcake! I’ve since learned about the different frosting tips and how to use them, but I always forget which is which. This tutorial from Glorious Treats is choc-full of reminders and helpful tips (haha get it?)!

My favorite frosting tips are the the second and third star tips. The first one always reminds me of a perfect pile of something else! Happy weekend, everyone :)

Ooooo No kidding! I used to make Sprinkles runs for my “client meetings” at my last job. We always nabbed a few extras for the office. They are oh so moist and scrumptious. That is – until I discovered they’re about 500 calories each!

Those are the most beautiful cupcakes I’ve seen in a while…well since I left San Francisco! The palette alone is gorgeous.
I agree! I haven’t seen such beautiful cupcakes like this anywhere in Tokyo either. If only I could make them this perfect.. :)
